Today’s Blog Post

Snow Storm Peterborough – Oh Boy
Normally this Blog is posted by 8 AM – all except today. My hands and arms are so sore that I can hardly type the words.

I just completed three hours of snow blowing – my huge driveway and 6 others on our street.

It has snowed three times since last evening and maybe more will come yet. Worse yet – it is super heavy snow. The Weather man called it Heart Attack Snow! Now it is beginning to melt and the water content in the snow is rising… with each shovel weight close to 25 to 35 pounds!

The beauty of the day is amazing to say the least. The snow is so deep that the underside or inside the snow bank is Blue. Yes I did lay down to do the kid thing… and remember my younger years. No I didn’t fall over with exhaustion!!! But that could have happened too!!!

I write this today for my friends in Africa that peek at the Blog from time to time. I share it with my friends in Malaysia as well… and Hong Kong… and Thailand. The mosquitoes are biting them now and we have the snow. Sorry guys and gals you don’t know what you are missing being in those warm countries.

In our city and on our street we celebrate the cold – knowing full well that in just a few weeks we will be gardening again. Oh Yah – Oh Yah!!! I can’t wait!

I hope you enjoy our snow shots today.

First I had to dig the shovels out to then shovel my way to the snow blower!
The over hanging snow was beautiful!
These are my Two Bears that I carved - asleep below their new blanket
Spring is coming soon!
